Wendy Yevoli
Wendy Yevoli is a partner and co-founder of Yevoli & Malayev, PLLC. She received her B.S.M. from the A.B. Freeman school of Business at Tulane University and her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law. Wendy is admitted to practice in New York, Florida and the District of Columbia.
After graduating from Law School, Wendy began her career as a prosecutor in the Miami-Dade District Attorney’s Office. There she prosecuted crimes ranging from simple misdemeanors to serious violent felonies.
After leaving the D.A.’s office Wendy saw the need to combine her knowledge of the criminal justice system with the complex world of immigration law. She assisted as an attorney in the law division of the Refugee and Immigration Rights Clinic of the Catholic Charities Of the Archdiocese in New York before opening her office. Wendy brings a unique perspective to immigrants who are in criminal removal proceedings as she is well-versed in both criminal and immigration matters.
Wendy’s practice is defined by her dedication to her clients and to help them realize their dreams of becoming U.S. citizens. She is further committed to helping people in need of criminal representation, regardless if they facing deportation consequence.
Stella Malayev
Stella Malayev is a partner and co-founder of Yevoli & Malayev, PLLC. She received her B.S. in Legal Studies from St. John’s University and her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law. Stella is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey. She is fluent in Russian.
Prior to founding Yevoli & Malayev, PLLC, Stella worked as an associate in a private immigration law firm. While there, she gained extensive experience representing clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Courts, Board of Immigration Appeals, and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. She has been successful in preventing the removal of hundreds of asylum seekers.
At St. John’s University School of Law, Stella took part in the well recognized Refugee and Immigration Rights Clinic. She worked closely with the knowledgeable attorney’s at the Catholic Charities Of the Archdiocese In New York. She successfully litigated a political asylum case before the Executive Office of Immigration Review in New York.
Stella’s dedication to her clients and the practice of Immigration law is evident. She hopes to continue to provide exceptional services to her clients at Yevoli & Malayev, PLLC.
